Dec 3, 2008: New enhanced version now supports fully animated presentations with flash and video content. Both the presenter and his presentation are now encoded into a single video. Therefore the content is always in sync. Your remote audience will now have exactly the same experience as your local audience. Your presentation with rich media content may be live streamed across the Intranet or Internet. At the same time it may be recorded, so it may be viewed again if somebody has missed the live presentation.
|
How does it work? The remote viewer receives the presentation in his Internet browser. It contains a single video with 2 videos mixed into it. Video 1: a camera records the presenter. Video 2: the presenters notebook is connected to the LCD projector, so that the local audience can see his presentation. ePresenta 2 captures this signal with an RGB capture card, compresses it and transmits it across the web. If the viewer has a high resolution display, he can view the presentation in its original size (typically 1024x768) and quality.

Low Latency Video Streaming |
|
MPEG-4 encoding and decoding systems
with very low latency (less than 100 milliseconds).
This allows real time transmission of high quality
audio and video across IP networks. RTP, RTSP,
ISMA and 3GPP protocols are supported.

90 ms from end to end:
top window shows the on-screen timer,
bottom window the received video stream.
This includes the total delay from the camera,
via the encoder, a local network, the decoder
to the display.
